Would you like to spend the summer working at Littlehampton Harbour?
We are looking for individuals to join our 2026 Seasonal Harbour Patrol team.
- Do you have experience on the water?
- Are you available to work at weekends?
- Do you enjoy taking on responsibility, meeting people and providing assistance?
This could be the opportunity for you!
The Role
Working with the Duty Officer to ensure the smooth & safe operation of the harbour, you will:
- Give assistance to visiting vessels, arriving and departing
- Respond to incidents
- Carry out Harbour Dues inspections
- Provide an on-the-water presence
- Take on any other tasks as neccessary
We have shifts available to choose from, every weekend from May to the end of September 2026.
What You’ll Bring
- Boating experience
- Ideally you’ll hold RYA Powerboat Level 2 and VHF certificate
- Good people skills
- A can-do attitude
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Salary £12.71 per hour – Apply by 14th May 2026
