Our popular event is back for 2026.

Join us on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of August for a weekend of nautical fun!

The Littlehampton Waterfront Festival attracts around 4,000 visitors each year, both local and those from further afield, and is a highly-anticipated weekend in the Littlehampton events calendar.

The Festival showcases activities that take place on the river, as well as local businesses and organisations onshore.

This year you can expect to see, once again, the popular flotilla of historic “Dunkirk Little Ships” – open to the public on the Town Quay pontoon. Joining them will be other interesting vessels including those from Border Force, IFCA, RNLI, Maritime Volunteer Service, and Littlehampton Harbour’s own tug – Erica.

Come on down to see them up close!

On the water, you can watch displays of skill and racing, including dinghy sailing, Jet Skis, Flyboards, E-Foils, and the RNLI lifeboats.

But the water-based fun isn’t all that’s on offer… Visit The Marketplace along the river walk for local arts & crafts stalls and to learn about the excellent work being done by various local clubs and charities.

Musical entertainment is provided throughout the weekend thanks to our own DJ Steve, and down at The Stage you can enjoy performances by shanty singers, morris dancing, and the fabulous Sussex Steel who are back by popular demand.

We look forward to seeing you!
