Our 2026 Waterfront Festival is set for Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of August!

This popular event attracts around 4,000 visitors, both local and from further afield, and is a much anticipated weekend in the Littlehampton events calendar.

The festival showcases activities that take place on the river, as well as local businesses and organisations onshore.

This year, we are especially privileged to welcome back a flotilla of historic “Dunkirk Little Ships”. On the water, we have displays including dinghy sailing, Jet Skis, Flyboards, E-Foils, hovercraft, RNLI lifeboats and workboats, to name a few. Various vessels will also be on show on Town Quay for members of the public to visit.

Pitches are approxiamtely 3m x 3m and a stall may apply for a maximum of 3 pitches.
(We reserve the right to allocate a smaller number of pitches if necessary)

Space is limited and the initial bidding window will be open until 1st May 26, so don’t delay!
On the 1st of May we will allocate places and from then on we will either open a second bidding window or begin a reserve list.

We regret that it is a condition of our events licence that we cannot offer stalls to food vendors.

Please be aware of the following points(Required)

1. The dates for this year’s event are Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August, 11:00am to 5:00pm. All stalls must be set up by no later than 10:30am. Pack down is from 5:00pm onwards. We request that stall holders do not begin packing up before 5:00pm, so as to avoid disrupting the event. You may of course start trading earlier and finish later if you wish. Standard 3m x 3m gazebos are welcome.

2.The charge per pitch is £20 (inc. VAT @ 20%) (free for registered charities). An invoice will be generated and forwarded to you with details of how to make payment. Confirmation of pitch will be made on receipt of the completed booking form, payment, and copy of your Public Liability Insurance (PLI) certificate.

3. We will endeavour to assist when possible in helping you to setup and pack down if our staffing levels at that time allow.

4. Parking is available only for unloading and loading between certain times (please see the event layout sheet) there is plenty of local parking, some of which is free but those spaces do tend to go quickly.

5. Please take home any waste at the end of the day. There is no electricity available. Toilet facilities will be available to stall holders and a door entry code will be given to you on the day, please do not pass on this code to any members of the public.

6. Should you have any problems during the day please contact the harbour office or any member of harbour staff and we will try our best to resolve the problem.

7. In the event of bad weather for the festival we will endeavour to contact you as early as possible to update you if the event is likely not to go ahead.

8. In the event we cancel the event, a full refund will be made. Cancellation by you after 5 August 2026 will result in no refund of pitch fees paid.
