The harbour limits extend from the old road bridge at Arundel to 100 feet due south of the western pier and 500 yards either side of the breakwaters.
As part of the 2015 Littlehampton Harbour Revision Order, the Harbour has replaced its Bye-laws with a set of General directions which are are a set of enforceable, modern rules which apply to all harbour users. A person who fails to comply with a General Direction, or who intentionally obstructs or threatens an officer of the Board, shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale (up to £2,500). For a short summary of the General Directions, see our Pocket Guide to the Littlehampton Harbour Regulations. For the full wording of the General Directions and for further information on external regulations that apply, review our list of Regulations for All Vessels Using the Harbour.
