Littlehampton Harbour Board staff were delighted to host Michael Brown (Chair of the West Sussex County Council Treasury Management Panel and Cabinet Member for Finance) and Amanda Jupp (ex Chair of West Sussex County Council) onboard the harbour’s new multi-purpose work boat and pilot boat, ERICA, during the fine weather yesterday.

Mr Brown and Mrs Jupp were instrumental in the process of obtaining County Council support for the purchase of the vessel and they were joined onboard by members and officers of the Littlehampton Harbour Board including Chair, Philip Bush and Vice Chair, Roger Elkins. Being able to demonstrate the all round capabilities of the ERICA and how she will benefit all stakeholders in the harbour was a real pleasure for the Harbour Master, Billy Johnson and his Deputy, Lee Harrison.
