At 02.00 hours on Sunday 3rd March Littlehampton Harbour saw the arrival of the Walter Hammann carrying the £3m worth of sheet piling for the Environment Agency’s east bank flood defence scheme which is due to start in October 2013 at Arun Parade. The vessel loaded its 1000 ton of cargo in Moedijk where it will return for another 2 visits in March after discharging in Littlehampton.
